Wal-mart is good but i think toys r us has the best prices on little toys like legos and lincoln logs and stuff like that

Toys R US JUST started selling a generic lego toy. It’s in a huge black box and has either 1000 or 2000 peices in it for at least half the price of legos and the best part is, they are interchangeable. Call your TRU and check it out or go to http://www.toysrus.com. They are doing free shipping right now on lots of stuff…but i can’t remember the brand of that particular knock off…

be cheerful and fun… he”ll love it if you play video games with him! Also don’t be alarmed if he shows off for you… most boys that age will develop a little crush on their female babysitters and try and act out a little! Just have fun! Good Luck!

my 7 y.o. son loves board games and card games as well!
And you’d be surprised at just how eager little boys are to help clean if they really believe they’re helping you out. So, if he’s making a mess with toys, make a game out of helping clean up etc.

This is an interesting situation. It seems like he already has most of the games he likes, but you can always try and find out if he has his eye on something.
One option, but that kind of depends on how much you have to spend, and if you can find one, is get him a Wii. Chances are you will also really like it, and gamers generally love it if they can enjoy their hobby with their partner.
I think, looking at the background information you gave here, he would certainly enjoy the Wii. If he’s a real football-fan, try to get him the latest Madden-game as well (Madden NFL 08). Other games he might like, just out of my head, are Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Zelda: Twilight Princess or Super Mario Sunshine.
If you just want to buy him a game, all I can really do is give you a list of some games that he might not know yet, but are certainly some experiences a gamer would/should like.
- Medal of Honor: Airborn (Xbox 360)
- Eternal Sonata (Xbox 360)
- Ninja Gaiden II (Xbox 360)
- Lumines (PSP)
- Every Extend Extra (PSP)
- God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP)

Well, if he really loves guitar and you can afford it get him another guitar if you can, or maybe a book full of music that he can play. Has he mentioned things that he’d like to have? If he has and you can recall them that might be a great gift for sure. I hope that this helps. I’m sure that no matter what you get he’ll just be glad you thought of him. And if all else fails, no one can ever have to many video games. Just pick up something that’s right up his alley. I doubt you’ll disappoint. Good luck and I hope your husband has a great birthday!
